Principal Jessica and Kasey and their team of fabulous teachers welcome you to Razzamataz Thurrock!

We are both so proud to be the principals of such an amazing and inclusive school.
Our team is built on dedication, enthusiasm and a love for the arts. We aim to provide a fun and vivacious space for our students. A place that they can flourish and excel in their performing arts training.

Principal Kasey

Co-Principal

Principal Kasey graduated from the University of Chichester with a BA Hons in Music in 2018.
This is where she discovered her love for teaching within the arts. Principal Kasey began to teach singing whilst at university and carried this over to her work at Razzamataz Brentwood in 2018, and Razzamataz Romford and Hornchurch in 2019. Principal Kasey has had many brilliant performing opportunities such as performing at amazing venues such as Disneyland Paris and the Royal Albert Hall.
In addition to this, Principal Kasey has fronted many different bands, and specialises in harmonies, jazz and soul voice. She has had many years of experience with harmony groups and choirs and loves making new and exciting arrangements for the children that she teaches. She has danced and choreographed for many productions including Bugsy Malone and We will rock you.
Principal Kasey has always adored the arts and is so proud to be a part of the Razzamataz family.

Principal Jessica

Co-Principal

Jessica has a strong performing arts and dance background and has been performing since a very young age. She has been in many TV series such as The Bill and Holby City. Jessica has also worked on films not only acting on screen but behind the scenes to on production and sound. Jessica most recently was on the set of Harry Styles new film! Jessica has had many years’ experience in dance and used to compete against Diversity when she was younger. Jessica continues to take part in Irish Dancing and competes regularly around the UK. Jessica has also been modelling since she was 17 years old and continues to do so. Jessica is also well known for being Queen Elsa!

Georgina

Assistant Principal

Georgina has always been passionate about musical theatre and the arts since a young age, she has been part of many shows and performances all around the UK.
Georgina has volunteered at Razzmataz Brentwood for a year back in 2019 and is now back to be an official teaching assistant at Razzmataz Thurrock!

“I can’t wait to come back to Razzmataz and become an official member of the Razz family; finishing what I started at the new school in Thurrock. I’m super excited to fulfil my position as a Teaching Assistant”

Paige

Assistant Principal & Singing Teacher

Paige has been part of the Razzamataz family for a very long time & lives and breathes the school.
Alongside an extensive list of amazing credentials - Paige has immense passion for all three disciplines & loves inspiring the younger generation and passing on her love for all things Razzamataz.

Lysa

Dance Teacher

Lysa-Marie Asiedu-Yeboa is an Actor, Singer, Songwriter and Dancer based in Essex. She is currently studying Professional Acting at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and releases music under the name 'elmarie'. She loves the performing arts and has studied all three disciplines from a very young age. She is passionate about teaching, making & learning in creative spaces.

Chloe

Dance Teacher

Chloe has been dancing since a very young age where she first started training alongside Divercity. She then went on to broaden her skills by trying different dance genres at multiple dance and theatre schools until Chloe decided to study Dance at College where she gained a diploma in Dance performance and contemporary dance. During college Chloe also competed in Youth Dance England where she was able to compete with groups from all over the UK! Chloe has been teaching Dance and performance at local theatre schools for the last 4 years and she loves being able to transfer the skills she learnt growing up to the next generation.

Carlos

Drama Teacher

Carlos Byles is an Actor, who has not only acted in but has also directed, written and composed, films, plays and musicals. he hopes to make his career stronger and also wants to inspire the generation of tomorrow. Carlos has successfully completed The BRIT school’ where he was studying theatre in performing arts. Carlos has been in several productions including ‘Soho theatre’s West Ends’ Citizenship, Theatre Royal Stratford East ‘One Night Only’ and ‘Rock Face boy’ inspired by ‘Brighton rock’, Martin Mcdonagh’s ‘Pillowman’, Shakespeare ‘Julius Ceaser’ where he played Titinus.
Above are only some examples of Carlos’s stage work and here is some of his screen work, has worked with ‘Netflix’ ‘BBC ‘ITV The X factor’, ‘Step back’ directed by Richard Kattah, Being black directed by Michael Junior, a Youtube short film sequel where he (plays the lead) called ‘CHOICES’ 1,2 & 3 & He is still currently filming and has a few projects that will be out within the near future. Carlos’ passion for the arts started when he was 10 years old. He was inspired by Jayden Smith's performance in Karate Kid and is excited to keep telling stories

Eve

Teaching Assistant

Eve has competed in many gymnastics competitions and absolutely loves music!
Eve is very passionate about the arts & loves helping people achieve their dreams - "I love being at Razzamataz every Saturday, it's so much fun! - I love seeing the children blossom"

Sofia

Singing Teacher

Sofia has been singing and acting since primary school where she was involved with the young voices collective in newham. She continued her passion for musical theatre and has been in numerous theatre productions at her schools playing lead roles. She attained distinction in grade 5 and grade 7 LAMDA exams. She has since then studied drama at queen Mary university of London and is ecstatic to be able to pass on her knowledge and love for the arts to the children at Razzamataz.

Emily-Rose

Triple Threat Teacher

Trained at Italia Conti London School.
From the tiny age of 4 I have participated in many musicals such as Les Miserables & West Side Story landing leading rolls as both Amber Von Tussle and Tracey Turnblad in hairspray.
My drive for performing comes from pure passion for the arts!
To see children experiencing all the wonderful, amazing feelings and opportunities just like i did at their age is utterly heart warming!!
After just a short 6 months I feel like I have become part of a family not just a team and have pushed myself to become the best teacher and version of me I can be! 🤩🩰

Charity

Triple Threat Teacher

Charity trained in Dance Making and Performance at Coventry University before studying her PGCE in Dance teaching at Royal Academy of Dance. During that time, she also worked with Flux Dance Theatre as a Performer and Teacher of Educational Outreach. She has been a Dance Teacher for 5 years and is currently completing her Masters in Dance Science at Trinity Laban. At Razz she teaches Acro, Drama and Singing.

Felicity

Social Media Manager

Felicity has a strong performing arts & fashion background, travelling the world for British brand Ted Baker & exhibiting her own brand at London Fashion Weekend & Brighton Fashion Week. Her unique style has been captured in magazines such as Marie Claire, Grazia & Company, as well as in portrait by artist Carol Tarn. She is passionate about costuming & singing. She has sung around the USA as a Second Soprano within a Choir in Chicago & as a children’s entertainer as Anna from Frozen.
